Proposition A

THIS IS A TAX INCREASE
Approving the ad valorem tax rate of $0.248650 per $100 valuation in County of Dallas for the current year, a rate that is $0.02400 higher per $100 valuation than the voter-approval tax rate of the County of Dallas, for the purpose of funding programs that measurably reduce homelessness and resolve encampments to improve neighborhood vibrancy, support homeless people to achieve self-sufficiency, increase access to metal health treatment and support programs that provide stable housing. Last year, the ad valorem tax rate in Dallas County was $0.215500 per $100 valuation.
 

City of Dallas
Proposition A

THIS IS A TAX INCREASE
The issuance of $443,000,000 general obligation bonds for public safety improvements and facilities, including fire, police and emergency services; the levying of a tax  sufficient to pay principal and interest thereon; the estimated amount of repayment, including principal and interest based on current market conditions being $629,618,180.
 

City of University Park
Proposition A

THIS IS A TAX INCREASE
Approving the ad valorem tax rate of $0.220055 per $100 valuation in the City of University Park, Texas for the current year, a rate that is $0.009665 higher per $100 valuation than the voter-approval tax rate of the City of University Park, Texas for the purpose of increasing staff for the police department and the fire department, providing a pension adjustment for the Fireman's Relief and Retirement Fund (FRRF), and implementing technology for residential parking districts. Last year, the ad valorem tax rate in the City of University Park, Texas was $0.218565 per $100 valuation.
